At Fitness and Freedom for Women, I offer personalized one-on-one training sessions designed around your unique goals, fitness level, and lifestyle. I create customized workout programs to help you build strength, improve mobility, boost confidence, and achieve lasting results. Enjoy the convenience and comfort of training in your own home while receiving professional guidance, motivation, and support every step of the way. My goal is to empower you to feel stronger, healthier, and more confident so you can live life to the fullest.
Fitness and Freedom for Women is owned and operated by Karen Smith. Karen’s passion for helping others improve their health and overall well-being inspired her to become a certified Personal Trainer and a Women’s Health Coaching Specialist.
She is also the founder of the highly successful AGH Run for Women’s Health (formerly known as the Mississippi Mills River Run), with proceeds supporting the Almonte General Hospital–Fairview Manor Foundation.
Karen brings a diverse background in event planning within the golf industry, as well as experience with a sporting event company in New Zealand while working abroad on a travel visa. She is a graduate of Sir Sandford Fleming College in recreation and leisure services, as well as Algonquin College for event planning. Over the years, she has developed and led a variety of fitness programs, including a popular 10-week Learn to Run program.
